As a few of you may have seen, we sent out a save the date for the upcoming tour running from Sunday March 12 and finishing on Saturday March 18.
Just like in previous years, the Tour’s primary focus is to raise funds and awareness for the Davis Phinney Foundation and its programs to help those affected by Parkinson’s Disease whose patrons are Davis Phinney and Connie Carpenter. Participants have raised over one and a half million dollars since the first Tour began in 2013.
The suffering will be legendary; Sunday the 12th I have a 235km/4000m event, and not only do I get to spend the next week serving our nation, but the second-last day of the Tour is my birthday.
Thank-you, GvA. I shall celebrate every evening with a Chamois dance for what will be a truly character-building week.
Have you suffered today?
I took the liberty to change the title of this thread, our culture and heritage shall not be ignored.
Hail, Sufferlandria!
HONOUR - GLORY - VICTORY
More than you
I’ve got the We Ride Flanders Sportive on Sat 1st April, so the tour could be the perfect last block and then two weeks to want to go near a bike again. Sorry, taper…
