I agree. Love and hate are two sides of the same coin. Apathy or indifference is another state. It is VERY dangerous as well.

Not to stir the can, but Russia made out like bandits when we attacked Iraq in 1990 and again in 2004 as a large oil reserve is out of action for the time being. Once it’s restored, the reserve holds more oil than that held in the Ukraine. But riding a bicycle takes more away from the oil industry than we realize and we need to stay in the best shape that we can in order to bring this to bear. Riding with the Sufferfest has kept me in the best shape and greatly assisted in my recovery from a serious incident that did not involve a bicycle (thank goodness).

I think this topic is dangerously close to going to a place where it should not go (i.e. the discussion scope is widening). There are plenty of places where one can express one’s opinion.
