Absolutely.

Exactly. If this is the way out, then going the other way should lead them to Couchlandria.

Indeed. I have no problem normally with either G.O.A.T or Power Station but this time in Stage 2, I was begging to spin it out when ‘Orbs’ hit at the bottom of the Nivolet! Great training. I shall revisit this post TOS. On to Stage 3

The last climb (uphill sprint) almost finished me off. happy with the outcome. downward spiral tonight (I’m in the UK) then actually dreading The Model tomorrow. that’s gonna hurt.

Although difficult grinding out the last climb, completed it without much issue. I recently purchased a KICKR Climb and found it made the ride more engaging.

I have REALLY enjoyed having my Kickr Climb this year!

Agreed! Though Downward Spiral stays at 0% the whole time, and there’s very little inclines on The Model. :frowning:

Spoiler alert!

Yeah I look forward to the continued retooling of all the older, non-Climb compatible rides. Not that I was able to stare at the screen too much, but there were definitely some potential grade changes in TDS on stage 3.

Of course, anything with @michael.cotty in it will have you perched precariously on your Climb at some point.

I haven’t done.a tour in two years but it was the ‘easy’ session which got me last time. It was “elements of style” and killed my legs for the rest of the tour. The harder sessions were however easier than expected. Still died multiple times but that is expected in Nuclear.

Wasn’t too bad although trying to hit power numbers at low cadence with a gravel bike on a manual trainer got a bit interesting. That final final effort hurt…!

I’m doing things a day late. That worked out better for my schedule, and I didn’t think it would matter because there was a 50 hrs. window around each ride.
However my first 3 rides are already set to “missed” in the awards section. Exactly what is the window set as? I did the first Monday afternoon EST, ride 2 Tues. afternoon, and was about to do the third.

That sucks dude. The window is mentioned in the award section of the app. Whether you need to have finished it by then, or have started it, I don’t know.

Perhaps the minions can help you out and show a little mercy. You know, if you promise to do Kitchen Sink at the end for good measure.

Found the rule:
“Every stage is open as long as it is that day somewhere on Earth. That means there is a 50-hour window for every stage. Use that window wisely to help gain some additional rest.”

Isn’t that window 48 hours? Regardless, I guess that means where I am (EST) I only have till 7AM the next day. I’m enjoying it anyway (just finished #3), just not getting the shiny award.

@nnovod This is a bit late for you but below is a link to a post with a chart showing the times and dates for the opening and closing of stages.

There’s a little island nation called Kiribati that is GMT+14 (ie east of the international date line by a couple hours, but that stays on the other side’s day). That’s where the 50 hours comes from.

Yup, carved it out of the dateline and everything…

Still would love to know if there are any Sufferlandrians in that box somewhere!
