ToS'22

Too bad they changed the date, from march the outside season starts for me.

Although, last year I did my sunday ride outside and worked the ToS arouond that (2 Suf sessions in the morning and then 3.5 hours outside in the afternoon, legs really hurt after that)

They’re usually announced about a month before so mid-Jan or thereabouts.

I hope we’ll have ToS2022 prep plan soon.

First KoS, next a week with N.H. then ToS’22. And this is how I see my near future

interesting to read this under the nuclear option:

  • …real mental challenge. Which, if you’re considering a post-Tour Knighthood, will be a useful exercise.

I had been wondering if/how I could use the tour in a build up to attempting the Knighthood. Will be interesting to see how the prep plan compares to the kh one, but I imagine I’d need a few weeks after the tour to get some more back to back rides in training? Or would it be sufficient to give it a shot straight after the tour, with a recovery week in between? What do guys think?

I’ve used Sufferfest on and off for nearly nine years but still yet to do either a tour or knighthood. About time I pulled my finger out really…

I did this a couple of years ago. Pre-tour, I spent three weeks practicing back to back rides, both for stamina and to perfect setup and timing. After the tour, I recovered for a week and did the knighthood. It worked great for me. However you work it out, you will crush it!

It’s a pretty popular time, historically, for Knighthood quests a week or so post tour.

Did that myself in 2018 as did a couple other local (to me) Knights. ToS is a great bump up on your fitness

Ok, it’s written. Consider this some sort of unofficial pre-announcement of my official announcement of my knighthood attempt, a week post tour. :radioactive:

As it is said and so it is written and so it must be done. My 2 cents for now, take a day or two off (easy spinning recovery rides or recharger) then do the FF prep week plan (replacing FF with your quest). Then, of course:

thank you, sounds like a plan

There’s also a Knighthood quest planning committee page on FB and a number of threads on questing in the forums. Loads of advice and suggestions from those that have approached the gates. #itwillallbefine #tuhntf

Any date on what the ToS 22 rides will be? Waiting on the list to decide which option to go with, 2 or 3.
