Okay, so I finally have my life semi-sorted out again (and why is my phone trying to auto-correct “semi” to “emu”? anyway…) and that means I’ve now officially signed up to ride this last official Tour.
And of course, because I’ve signed up, that means it’s time for this year’s shenanigans!
Given this is the last edition of this version of The Tour, I was thinking something epic-ish should at least be an option on the Sunday. The obvious choice is just to say Kitchen Sink, but maybe a buffet might be more fun ?
I kinda wanted the last ride of the Tour to be Cash Register, even though it’s also on the first, so maybe a taster menu - something like

Cash Register
No idea how much of that I’d manage at full chat, but it might be (Type 2) fun** finding out…

Erm…..hmmmm……thats high risk, but doable…..moving the trainer will be a nightmare tho. I’ll do it if I can hit $400 in donations before the Tour starts plus a donation per resulting bee sting. I get to choose the stage. It’ll be the shortest stage
GOAT would be perfect for the GOAT suit, but either Fight Club or Team Scream get honorable mention if you are riding with the bees. The ultimate (in more ways than one) is ‘It Seemed Like A Good Ideal At the Time (Until I Could Not Find My Epi Pen)”.
The goat suit is one of the memorable moments from Tours of the past. It would be an honor to see it in action one last time.
I agree saving the GOAT suit for Goat would be good. Id also prefer the bee suit for the bee ride but am prepared to do it in the goat suit. My bees are reasonably well behaved…I hope.
I can do both….2 stages, 2 bee rides. One with bee suit 1 with goat suit. All live streamed. This will require some serious donations tho.
Pretty sure I can get my buddy Sir Michael to come ride stage 1 with me in his Shrimp suit alongside me in my Goat suit as well. Weve done that a few years in a row
Well I’m motivated by cycling caps. And the only way to get one is to achieve $400 before the Tour starts. Thats the target for a first ride with the bees in a goat suit.
To get an additional bee ride…fee will depend on how many times I get stung the first time.
Well it has been a couple of months since your last Knighthood Quest. You could do another one using ALL the Tour videos (including those that don’t count) + four more that do count AND dual record on Zwift so the Knight Ride group could support/heckle you…
Thank you Chris for your kind generosity!!! And targeting doing this in front of bees of course!!! I’m already nervously working out how to manhandle the trainer out to the garden. That’s going to be a workout all of it own and now I’m worried about rain!!!
Tempting! Whatever I do, I will make sure at least some - if not all - of the event will be dual-ridden for spectator support/hecking.
After wandering thru my mental and on-line databases, I’ve dug up this list of my previous Tour Shenanigans: 2021: My first Tour of Sufferlandria. I sufferered honourably with my knees barely recovered from tendonitis developed during my original KOS quest in Nov 2020 2022: Rode vintage and current Fight Club videos back-to-back during the Tour - apparently I was just getting warmed up 2023: Rode HHNF and Who Dares at least once per day all month (wearing a knight’s helmet) 2024: Rode The Omnium at least once per day all month 2025: Rode all KOS eligible videos in a single month
If I can reach at least $1,500 in donations I will do something that will will top any and all of my previous Tour shenanigans. And if I can reach $2k, I will add on something else TBD to help top them even more.
