Hello, I recently started a training plan and signed up for the May Challenge. I assume the best approach is to remove something from my core training plan with a similar TSS to the May Challenge ride assigned to avoid over-fatigue. Is that the right way to handle it? Are there other considerations?

Yup, sounds like a good plan. Ideally swap with something of similar metrics - not just TSS but also metric focus, if you have something you can swap with (MAP for MAP, etc.)
