Hello wahoo hive mind, is there support for any of the wireless pressure sensors starting to come onto the market?
Particularly interested in the Outrider one that sits inside the tyre/rim.
A quick search seems to suggest they are all Garmin only apart from the SRAM ones.
If the sensor supports the ANT+ Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) profile, then it should work. Not sure the profile was ever fully finished, but it’s fairly widely supported (even available on the Rival watch I believe..)
The Outrider one does not support the ANT protocol, it’s currently Garmin only. I think BT via a ConnectIQ app.
I would also be interested in this if it was supported by Wahoo.
Yeah it’s annoying, and IIRC the ANT+ profile was essentially the same as the original Garmin TPMS (would make sense obviously). Wouldn’t surprise me if the proprietary stream was basically that tunneled over BTLE, like Tacx did with FE-C.
