Ummm. I’m not 100% sure if you’re joking about the joke or not. Are you not a fan of the ACE or was this supposed to link to the Kickr Earth thingy!

It was an attempt to be funny, probably a failed attempt.
I thought people would assume it was going to be a link to the Kickr Earth.

Yeh. Humour in text is hard. You’d need a winky emoji or something to communicate your intent.

But seriously, are you not fond of the Ace? Cuz if that’s the case, it’s funny.

You’re good at interpretation. Yep, I was digging at the Ace. I think it is too big. I was eager in anticipation of something better than my Bolt v1, but disappointed by the Ace which does not appeal to me.

I feel a little ashamed to be so negative - I try to only post positive comments and constructive criticism but my mean streak got the better of me. Blame it in too many beatings by NoVids this last few days.

:joy:. I’ve got the Ace. There are things i absolutely LOVE about it. In particular, the map. Being able to use the very responsive touch screen to zoom, pan, etc etc makes navigation in unfamiliar territory a dream. I also love that almost all functions can be accessed using the buttons or the screen. I’ve never been a fan of solely touch screen bike computers but am a big fan of having the option.

As to its monstrous size. Compared to the Bolt it must be comical. Compared the the Roam v2, which is what I had, it’s still pretty darn big but, you get used to it really really quickly and once you’ve had it on your bars for awhile, it doesn’t seem that big after a while.

There are things I don’t like but screen size is NOT one of them. I actually have said, and stand by this, the useable screen could/should be bigger. There’s what amounts to a fairly significant bezel when in use and I find that a little disappointing. I felt the same about the Roam v2.

Make no mistake, Ace is a behemoth, especially in thickness. I don’t see anyone racing with it but for general riding, group rides, road and gravel it’s pretty good. And is has a built in bell
