Wifi connection

Hello everyone.

I am unable to connect my Wahoo Kickr v6 to the wifi. It says the connection is too unstable or weak. My internet works fine for streaming, video conference calling etc, so this is odd.

I even moved the trainer next to router. Still no luck. The trainer won’t connect to my phone hotspot either……

The trainer does connect to Bluetooth and I have been able to update the firmware.

Would anyone have any advice?

Firmware: 5.3.5

Change the Wifi channel router guess to 2.4Ghz. Not all wachoo channels are visible. Maybe this will help.

Has same issues with my v6 and home wi-fi. even put signal repeater next to Kickr to make signal stronger but was still not able to connect.
this is when I’ve split my wifi connection into two separate networks: one dedicated to 2.4Ghz frequency and one for 5Ghz.
This did the trick. The signal was still showing as weak but left Kickr trying to connect for like 30-40 mins and it finally connected. Since then connection is stable with no issues.
