This is all very fascinating to me.
Correction: above should read…I could not change trainer difficulty (didn’t even show up in menu), virtual gears were not showing in Zwift.
I apologize I should have been more clear. I have a kicker bike with virtual shifting and during full frontal I vary between switching gears and switching the slope /resistance on the laptop so that I can get right to the cadence that I prefer.

I have a kicker bike and I usually go between levels three, four and five on the laptop for slope/resistance and then use around a 50/18 gear to maintain the cadence I want at the watts pI’m targeting. This helps me a lot as you get into the second half of the 20 minutes. Because if my cadence drops too much, I fall apart
