Recently as a warranty replacement I received a Bolt V3 instead of my old V2. One of the features I used a lot was the fact that I could easily connect it to my PC and download the .fit files manually. I noticed, that when connecting the V3 my .fit files are not visible. I learned that they apparently should be visible with the option in the new Wahoo app enabled, but there’s no “exports” directory when connecting the device:
Is there some other setting I’m missing here?
Have you enabled FIT file access? Open Wahoo App, connect device, then select settings. Its the very last selection, scroll down.
Connect via USB, File Explorer. Internal storage, ‘export’ folder is low down, for me its below ‘documents’.
I can see all FIT files since May 2025 when I bought Roam 3. Should be identical on Bolt 3.
I figured it out. My Bolt was refusing to update its software through my home WiFi, I had to do it using a phone hotspot instead.
For some reason they still like 2.4ghz WiFi. I have my Wi-Fi router set to make a 5ghz for most stuff and 2.4ghz for the ELEMNT.
