Not sure when it started, but it first happened before October 2025, that a workout did not sync to Wahoo cloud. That showed both under history as a red cloud (where all workouts are listed) and as a banner on the page of the non-synced workout itself, see screenshots.
Tapping on the red banner ‘Workout failed to sync to the Wahoo cloud’ always fixed it so far (red cloud and banner disappeared)
Using both Elemnt Bolt V1, Android (v15) mobile phone and the ELEMNT app (v1.77.5.2) together also before autumn 2025. Before that did never happen. The configuration of the mobile phone is unchanged, so are the web provider and the router the same and unchanged as well (router’s firmware was updated, but no issues, nowhere, not on other connected devices either). The mobile phone was restarted several times, the app’s cache deleted, the app was forced to stop. Checking and updating firmware with the Bolt directly (the Android device not being involved) never provided an error.
But what I notice is that the Bolt tell me it had synced a workout, right after connecting to my wi-fi network - without being connected to the app or even the app being fired up. So when I notice that red cloud for the actual workout, the ELEMENT app was started after the Bolt said it had synced the workout.
What could be the reason, how troubleshoot and fix? Is there a log somewhere to check? When has the issue been fixed which Elemnt Bolt v1 had reg. GPS, could Bolt’s new firmware be the reason?
