Heart Rate Monitor Useless

I used to have a wahoo heart rate monitor and thought it was long overdue a new one. To go with the new Garmin Edge 440 I have.

Well, what a complete waste of money. I have only got it to display the heart once. Am I dead to Wahoo? Might as well be! I hate wasting so much money on new tech that doesn’t work!

I have taken the battery out, put in new batteries. Registered it on my iPhone. The Garmin says it connected but will NOT display anything. I am so fed up. I feel like I’ve been ripped off!

Do these guys know the issues with their devices? They should NOT be selling them.

Should I give up and escalate this as a lost cause, or can anyone, anyone at all, help?

Hi @Andym1300,

Welcome to the forum.

I’d suggest contacting Wahoo Customer Support to help resolve the issues you’re having with your Wahoo HRM.

Do you mean in the Garmin Connect app on your iPhone, or in the iPhone’s Bluetooth connections in settings?

If it’s the latter, that’s likely the cause of your problems. Bluetooth connections are typically “unique” and cannot be shared. Your iPhone is picking up your HRM connection, and therefore your Garmin unit cannot.
