Help Sir Glen to break his silence

I announced yesterday that if I could get from $290 to $500 in fund-raising for DPF that I’d go completely silent on the forums for a full 24 hours. A single donation from the incredibly generous @Heretic had me reach that amount faster than a Couchlandrian on a donut.

He’s allowed me a bit of reprieve to encourage further fundraising toward the 2nd part of the challenge which was to raise $750, at which point, rather than silence I would be required to triple my forum output! My 24 HOURS OF SILENCE will begin upon his command (well, once I become aware of it).

If you’d rather hear me get even more verbose than I usually am, and I honestly can’t imagine why anyone would want that (I can’t even listen to myself half the time ) you can contribute here, or have your friends contribute. Of course, you could do both…24 hours of silence, and then be more verbose after than. That might restore your mental balance.

Well, that ended waaaaaaay faster than I ever thought though, I can’t say I wasn’t enjoying the silence. I even set an alarm for tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 pm CST cuz that would have been 24 hours of silence after completing Stage 5. The $750 funding goal was reached only 4.5 hours after my forum silence began!!! Thanks to ALL who contributed for your incredible generosity!!

So, this question goes to @Heretic and Sir Evan @emacdoug and I will accept your decision. I am prepared, as Heretic suggested, to do both and continue my silence for the remaining 24 hours, but I’m also prepared to triple my output effective immediately, for the next 24 hours. The choice is yours. I await your decisions.

You have to continue your silence. That was my understanding. I even gave you more time to raise money to avoid it.
