Integration with Strava

I did my first outdoor workout with Roam 3 today. I have authorized Strava to my Wahoo-account, and Wahoo on my my Strava-account.

But todays workout does not show up on Strava. Do I need to do anything more than to authorize ?

Three things.

1 - Sync your Roam. Make sure your phone is turned on connected to your Roam so it will sync your activities from your Roam to your phone so they can be shared.

2 - Manually share your activity. If your activity synced to your phone but it didn’t share, open the activity and manually share it to your authorized apps. Click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner of your activity and tap “share”. On the sharing screen you’ll see if it was shared or not and you can then choose which to manually share it to.

3 - Set up auto-share. Go into the authorized app and verify that you have it set to auto-share. If not, flip the toggle to turn it on and it will auto-share all future activities.

The sync process is more of a “sharing” process. And it works slightly different on each end.

Any activity saved to Strava either by using the Strava app or any other third-party app will automatically be shared with Wahoo and show up in your Wahoo history.

OTOH, any activity performed using the Wahoo App will only auto-share if you both authorized the app and also turn on auto-share. This is a feature that allows you be able to edit notes or titles on your workouts before sharing them to Strava or to choose which activities to share (if you have any activities you don’t want to show on Strava). However, if that’s not a concern of yours then simply turn on auto-share and all your Wahoo workouts will be automatically shared to Strava as soon as you save it.
