I am not abel to sync today`s workout to the Wahoo app from Roam 3. The workout is visible on Roam3, but it stays there ![]()
Wahoo Cloud is having issues this morning. It should sync later when cloud services are fully restored.
Same issue here. Annoying.
Same. “Sorry, something went wrong. But you are going to be ok!” Is such an arrogant response from a company. That really hits me the wrong way.
Why not “Sorry, not Sorry”?
My guy it’s a failure notice not a philosophical treatise
Is that a direct quote from Wahoo? I’d be annoyed also. My interpretation would be that they think we are aware there is a cloud sync issue (hint: we are not all as informed and special as @emacdoug) and that we are immediately spiraling into catastrophic doom. Given how frequently we have to clear caches, uninstall/reinstall apps, and reconnect 3rd party apps, it’s a bit patronizing.
Of course, if that is not a direct quote, disregard most all of the above.
It’s the default error message in the Wahoo App if your activity has a cloud sync error. Been that way for years, not new today.
I rarely use the Wahoo app, only SYSTM, but the second sentence is still not funny or appropriate no matter how long it has been in use.
I never thought that.
Of course I’ll be OK, it’s just electronic files getting held up and I already did my workout, which honestly is the most important part of this.
Given the fact that I still can’t access the completed workouts via USB, I would say that no, I won’t be OK. I would rather be able to at least make it without depending on Wahoo’s cloud infra, which evidently is crap.
And yes I have the latest firmware version, and openmtp on macos does not show anything in the exports folder after I have enabled both toggles (allow usb and .fit files) in the app as instructed by this faq page.
Same here. In the exports folder I only see some .fit files of older workouts. Nothing dated 2026 while I have already many rides this year included today.
You are not OK now but will be OK when the cloud comes back online though, right?
Yeah it sucks, I also have multiple workouts stuck on multiple devices, but my legs still hurt and Strava will show my workouts tomorrow or whenever. The kudos will still happen.
I mean you yourself can be fine with your workout not syncing till the next day, but you don’t know why specifically todays effing workout is important to me to be sent today, right?
I did Traka which was a massive effort and wanted to post pictures and stuff on my strava with some thoughts, also my coach wants to have a effing look so he can plan some more stuff, but hey, that is not possible because not only wahoo’s cloud systems are down for 10+ hours, but there isn’t an option to manually get the Fking file myself?
I don’t know why I am even responding to you like somehow I have to prove that something important for me is in fact important to me, and wahoo’s way of handling this is full of patronising bullshit and “it will happen when it will happen”. WTF?
Again, the usb copy is NOT WORKING, I wouldn’t have made a wahoo forums account to talk here if it was. Jesus.
I have real doubts it will be resolved before Monday actually, if it was a simple issue that could be resolved with a “reboot the servers” or “reset some system” it would have been done already by any on-call engineers.
The fact that there are no real updates tells me that noone is actually working on fixing this on a Saturday.
If memory serves right Garmin outages usually last a couple of hours and are done quickly, any day of the week. But hey let’s wait the next day because we “will be ok”.
Currently regretting not using my 1050 for Traka.
Making a wild guess, I think if you have not enabled one or both of the “Allow USB access” and “Allow .FIT file access” the .fit files might not get created, so for past workouts you won’t see them.
But you might seen the for future workouts?
The problem is I did not turn those on, until today that I needed to access them… Which is kind of silly if it is true.
I will make a workout tomorrow and validate if it is showing.
Well it will be OK
probably not for wahoo in the long term ![]()
I mean if it stays down yeah ![]()
It is dismissive. “Calm down” and “deal with it” type responses don’t help customers.
That’s fair but there is zero that Wahoo could say that will make the other guy happy. He’s upset (justifiably) and will remain so until the cloud is back up.
Given that there is no acceptable answer, one that attempts to be jovial ain’t the worst thing.
Behold, it is working again. People’s ability to get worked up about things that ultimately don’t matter never ceases to amaze me.
