It seems that this App can do what I looked for:
Supported Devices: Kickr Bike Shift
“You can add custom mapping and adjust touch points or keyboard shortcuts to your liking”
It should be able to map the buttons on the Kickr Bike Shift to media control buttons, allowing to play and pause e.g. Netflix while cycling. For the Sufferlandrians amongs us who are bored by NoVid workouts.
Idea: Use the code from Github to integrate into Systm

I am trying the BikeControl App for that now. The developer of that seems to have kicked off a simple Bike Control Protocol as well: https://openbikecontrol.org/
Wouldn’t it be great if that was supported? It is so simple … just using the Kickr Bike Shift Buttons to control the Headwind fan or to pause the video, to set power percentages, control your netflix or spotify on NoVid workouts … whatever you wish …
