Let’s see your pain cave

Let’s try something new - ongoing project:

I just thought it fits into this topic nicely.

How did the trial run go?

A bit of a work in progress… I was recently kicked out of my old location, but it’s doing the trick for now.

Admittedly, I only post this because I enjoy looking at my photogenic bicycle.

Yummm…Heady Topper :yum:

Ok, I’ve moved house and inherited a brown and beige and oil stained dark dingy double garage. I called in the big guns. SUF posters to go up still plus need to set up the trainer, but:

@DameLisa That space looks pretty sweet. Do you have a pro team staying with you? That is a lot of bikes on the wall.

Thanks! Sadly no pro team but clearly room if they visit. Only half the bikes are mine. One of my mates has 23 bikes so I don’t feel like I have too many :joy:

Thanks gents. Has been a long time coming and it’s WAY better than I could have hoped for. Surpriai simple to put together too. The catalyst was moving house and having all the garage stuff boxed up already, which made it possible.

Better get my trainer set up now!!!

Ok I’ve installed all my stuff now!

Is that an Intel NUC which serves as your paincave computer?

Room setup, work, play, hobby and pain!

That it is. Have gone with a BT keyboard mouse combo so I have the extra usb slot for the webcam for Twitch on the rare occasions I do Suf rides with a buddy

Be sure of the orientation of your first pic and that I was reading this on a small (phone) screen, I totally thought you had the bikes on the ceiling. DAMN that looked cool.

As it turns out, it STILL looks damn cool.

Finally found the time to renovate the other part of the cellar and could liberate my Suffercave of being as well the storing room. Now it is a dedicated suffer place :sunglasses:

A general observation/question on pain caves has popped into my mind while scrolling through this thread; I find a lot have their screens located seemingly quite high up. I guess not always an option, however, wouldn’t it generally be better to keep the screen rather low to prevent constantly tilting your head unnecessary far back?

If I had the space I’d mount mine lower for that reason.
