My Mt Sufferfest

Ok in November of '20 I was doing the mental training stuff, and the exercise was to look in the mirror and identify your own Mt Sufferlandria, etc. and to write it all down. For me it was to get to 190 pounds (I was at 211). Anyhoo…I weighed in at 189 pounds today. So I hit it. But now realize I aimed too low…now its 180 pounds.

How did I get there? By this super secret program hardly anyone knows about. Its called the eat less and eat healthier program. Yes I’ve been cycling, swimming, walking, doing weights etc but I always did all of that. New eating habits did the trick, and now its the way I eat…and think. Took me to age 61 to figure it out but better late than never.

Cheers

Speaking as ONLY a 52 year old, good on you @NormtheChelseaboy !

I didn’t start getting my act back together until last year, so right there with you. Though you old guys make me feel good about the next decade!

@yojimbo, it’s like investing - the best time to start was in your 20’s, the next best time is now.

Thanks all of you!

The bad part of this is that none of my motorcycle riding gear fits me anymore and its expensive stuff to replace. But that’s a quality problem to have I suppose.
