🚀 New feature: Outside rides (and other Wahoo cloud activities) now appear on the SYSTM calendar

Do you use a Wahoo ELEMNT computer (RIVAL, BOLT or ROAM) when riding outside? Well, do we have news for you! All your outside rides now appear on the SYSTM calendar.

Not only that, but if you’re using RGT (and you should be!), you’ll see your rides on the SYSTM calendar too. In short, all workouts that have been uploaded to the Wahoo cloud now appear on SYSTM (This includes any strength, yoga, runs, etc. that you record on the Wahoo Fitness app.)

We’ve been working on this for quite awhile and, while it’s not perfect yet, we know you’ve been waiting as patiently as you can for this feature. So we wanted to get it out as sooner rather than later.

Although you won’t see further developments on this feature for some time now, further down the road we’ll open this up beyond Wahoo devices (our intention is not to be a closed ecosystem). This is also a critical piece to eventually enabling you to push SYSTM workouts to your BOLT or ROAM. Stay tuned!

I actually noticed my rides showing up during the week. This is so awesome to finally have this information all showing in one place, instead of having to make sure things are sync’d as well as being linked to other platforms like TrainingPeaks (essentially don’t need this anymore :slight_smile: )

This is an awesome addition and one I’ve been hoping for. One issue though:
Because my Wahoo X account started out as a Sufferfest account, it’s not the same as my Wahoo ELEMNT Bolt account. Is there any way to merge/link the two?
I have different email addresses associated with each.

I’m in that same boat of different email addresses associated with each account. Hoping there’s a way to merge them.

That’s really neat. Love it! Now we just need the ability to load the workouts to our Bolts for outside riding! I know you are working on it but harry up :smiley: please!

Thank you, for Sync option, however the weekly training planing for actual and planned total hours is not accurate anymore. Prior to recent update if planned workout completed manually from outdoor rides total hours were same. Now with changes outdoor ride and completing the training plan workout manually on the given day gives inflated total hours for the week. I think we should include option for completing workouts manually with completed as outdoor instead to match total weekly total hours, until we are able to sync SYSTM workouts to Element unit.

Doesn’t look like there’s much help for this. Here’s what I received from the Minions:

“I’m happy to help you with your questions. I’m sorry but at the moment we’re not able to merge your accounts. There are many users (including myself!) who have different emails for SYSTM and for the Elemnt app. We hope to be able to merge your accounts in the future.

It’s not a problem to have 2 accounts but it is more to keep track of.

We track all of our feature requests and I am happy to log this feature for our developers on your behalf.”

Ok, there may not be way to merge the accounts. There are no other workarounds? Can’t set up a new ELEMNT app account? There must be SOME way to address the issue. It may be imperfect, but there must be a way.

@TwoWheelsTerry That seems strange since when Wahoo and Sufferfest consolidated logins a while back so there must be some sort of process. Perhaps that was a short window to consolidate.

I’m another one in this boat. I consolidated accounts way back, which partially solved my forum/wahoo/Sufferfest stuff.

But I’ve not seen a way to change the email address that’s attached to the ELEMNT app.

I suspect I’m not the only one who has:

  1. Two wahoofitness.com accounts (an email (email1 for this conv) address I used to use and a newer one (email2) that was used around consolidation time but now means I have two separate accounts.
  2. A login held over from SUF now used for logging in to SYSTM and that was updated to be email2
  3. A forum.wahoolagin.com login which is also email2
  4. An email (email1) somehow associated with ELEMNT info in the ELEMNT app.

I vaguely recall conversations about being able to change the ELEMNT email … but was a long time ago.

I really must somehow tidy up my own ones but then I lose order history …

If I could change the ELEMNT email that would be good though.

I have wondered if I delete my wahoofitness email2 account completely then go in to my email1 wahoofitness account and change its email address if that will work …. but I have zero idea what that will do for my SUF/Wahoo/forum account overall.

So my understanding then, I just start my outdoor ride in the Wahoo Fitness App on my iPhone and it’ll sync when I’m done?

This is odd, my accounts updated/ upgraded very easily and I’ve not yet had any issues. To be fair, I have a public email addy that I use for all my Wahoo/Strava/FitOn apps, maybe that’s the key? :thinking:

I think this feature will be super- will try it this weekend. I’m in South Africa and our weather is approaching Spring so outdoor rides will being to replace my indoor rides pretty soon.
