Hello Wahoo staff,
Nice new feature. Love it. Works perfectly with my Elemnt Roam, does not work with the old Elemnt Bolt V1. Do I need to upgrade the old one?

Received an update from Wahoo support that may help those who are in a similar situation:
"We are currently working on the tool that will allow for the merging of all of the historical data from two different accounts, but that is not quite ready.
There is a workaround that you can use for your workouts going forward:
Log into your ELEMNT app using the email address associated with your SYSTM account.
Click on the "devices" tab on the screen. If your Bolt does not show up as a device, click "add new device" and pair your Bolt. This will not affect your Bolt association with your other email address - the device can be associated with multiple emails
Ensure you are logged into the ELEMNT app using the SYSTM email account when you save a workout from your BOLT. The workout will then save to that account in the Cloud, and will then share with the SYSTM calendar.
While this workaround wonāt bring all of your historical BOLT data into SYSTM just yet, it will allow you to sync your new workouts into your SYSTM calendar."
Also, in the calendar you can drag and drop the ride data on a planned ride and the planned ride will update.
Wahoo support comes through again. Definitely a good CSE (Customer Service Experience).
Thanks, but it is still not working. Although the workout was saved correctly in the Wahoo Cloud, it does not appear in the calender. The workout saved be Elemnt Roam on that same account does though. :person_tipping_hand.
Alas, support told me thereās no way to merge. Did you have any more luck @TwoWheelsTerry ?
Maybe in future if I hang on to both accounts @David.McQuillen.KoS ?
@jembradshaw thereās no way to merge two accounts right now, so your history wonāt come over. Moving forward, and until thereās a tool/app that will allow accounts to merge, you can log in to the Elemnt app with your Systm login credentials. If your Elemnt isnāt there, you can click Add Device and then both your Elemnt and Systm should sync in the Wahoo cloud. The Elemnt can be associated with more than one account, so holding on to your history shouldnāt be a problem. Make sure you log into the Elemnt app with the Systm login and you should be good to go moving forward. thatās the way Iām understanding the most recent communication from Wahoo.
Works with my V1 Bolt
Wonderful Wahoo - Iām a fan
@TwoWheelsTerry This is a really nice feature. I am surprised that there isnāt more chatter about this.
I know, right?!? I havenāt tested it out yet, but will be soon.
This is awesome! Canāt wait to test it out this weekend. Will be my first outdoor ride in ages braving the Melbourne winter
In the meantime this was just posted to wahoofitness subreddit:
Iām going to try it out over the weekend. Might be a better solution than me trying to set up custom alerts on my bolt to let me know about the change of the intervals (my current workaround for SYSTM workouts when riding outside)
There seems to be a bug for multi-day events: The event is listed on the finish day. However, the Wahoo ELEMNT app (statistics) or Strava show the event on the start day.
So outside rides show up on the SYSTM app? This makes no difference to me unless there is an analysis suite to go along with it
I was wondering that too. I ride without power and heart rate monitor, so the data is pretty useless in any case.
I think it is a first step to link the head units and SYSTM with a view to push workouts to the head units at a later stage.
If thatās on the cards in the near future, I need to start saving up for a power meter.
@TrapMeSuf That step is done - you should see activities on your SYSTM calendar if you record a ride on a Wahoo Bolt or Element or if you use the Wahoo Fitness App or Element app. So now we are waiting to see when the outside rides are pushed from SYSTM app to devices.
I have read your reply 10 times and all it did was put 1000x questions in my head. Iāll limit it to 2:
Having achieved Knighthood, is a power meter even necessary? I can only dream of achieving that. I assume the secret sauce to that is endurance and not sheer power
Do you race? I race in a gravel race series and wonder if my PM is limiting my performance. Iām top quartile but canāt fathom the power the top guys are putting out. Maybe Iām not on full send because a number scares me that Iāll crack.
I donāt need a power meter. However, if I can move a workout to my Bolt and do it on an outside ride, I somehow need to know what targets to reach to do the workout correctly. Heart rate and perceived effort are one thing, but the actual power would be most reliable.
I donāt race. I have no clue how good/bad I am. I am my own nemesis⦠Getting obsessed with my FTP and MAP numbers. A power meter would add figures from my outside rides to that process.
So in short, it would be an insane expense for very little actual gain. Pretty sure thereās a whole lot of other things higher on the shopping/wish list
As for the knighthood: you just need to be crazy enough to spend 10hours on an indoor trainer ⦠Gets you cool stickers though
Great to see progress here but keen to know when this is available to a Garmin (or other) device. Even as a work around in the meantime like a manual upload for a fit/gpx file. SYSTM can update Garmin connect so should be able to work the other way?
Thanks
Start saving!
This was the first step toward that.
