NEW Inspiration workout

Look For Things Where You Can Find Them

This film is a visually stunning endurance sports film that reimagines what it means to swim, bike, and run. Professional triathlete Eric Lagerstrom sets out on a summer of self-discovery across Colorado, Arizona, and British Columbia, reconnecting with the curiosity that first pulled him into the sport.

Along the way, he rides remote gravel roads with endurance legend Heather Jackson, dives into icy open water with Olympic gold medalist Simon Whitfield, and runs high alpine ridgelines far from any race course. Together, they explore a deeper purpose in sport—one rooted in wonder, not competition.

Thanks for the new workout. Always nice to get new material. However, you really need to respond to the other threads and tell your customers why there have been so many changes that make some of the SUF videos so much less engaging. Better yet, have senior management respond.

I really enjoyed this one, not much story but gorgeous camera/photography, plus workout corresponds to what’s happening on screen, and good soundtrack. Bit like a blend of inspiration and on location.

As far as inspiration videos go, this makes a great template for future ones! (For me anyway.)

I just got around to riding this. I loved it which surprised me! I favorited it and plan to put it in my regular rotation.

I almost never like inspiration vids. This one has music that matches what’s happening in its video. The cadence and intervals match the music. There was music, not road noise! I even liked the video and storyline. This is what I wish OnLocation vids were like.

The videographer Nick Goldston also did the music. I don’t know whether he or the Director/Producer Eric Lagerstrom created the match between music and video, but whichever Wahoo person created the intervals and cadence for it did a fine job! I’d like to see more from this team.

Exactly. This one actually feels built for riding, not just a pretty video. The music syncs with effort, not just vibes.

Loved this video. Perfect workout as I taper for Vermont Overland this weekend.

Please add some more inspiration videos for the upcoming indoor season.

All involved should be lasered by Goats for infringing Rule 42 - // A bike race shall never be preceded with a swim and/or followed by a run.If it’s preceded with a swim and/or followed by a run, it is not called a bike race, it is called duathlon or a triathlon. Neither of which is a bike race. Also keep in mind that one should only swim in order to prevent drowning, and should only run if being chased. And even then, one should only run fast enough to prevent capture.

Minor addition: I think in general a duathlon is a run-bike-run event, while a swim-bike event is known as an aquabike. So there are at least three types of races using bicycles that you wouldn’t consider cycling! And as someone who only cycles and never races I only know this because of my triathlete spouse who had to (mostly) give up the events with running after smashing the head of her femur in a bike crash six years ago and having emergency hip replacement surgery the next day. Aquabike is her thing now!

In September and October I start to think about preparing for the upcoming indoor bike training season. In hope there are some good inspiration videos coming. I do enjoy the “From the Ground Up” videos but hope that there are a bunch in the works.
