Official Tour of Sufferlandria 2022 Route Discussion Thread

Do the tour! Is there really any other answer? lol

Last year, I stopped my plan. I took a day off. I then did Tapers and Primers. I then did the Tour. After the Tour I took a day off, I then did Recharger, and resumed my plan.

I made my own adjustments to the Tour I did some rides at 100%, I did others at a reduced intensity.

Will we get a '22 version of that date/time table for each stage? Anyone know what I’m talking about?

There will be countdown timers.

Yes, it shows the window for each stage for different time zones. I’m looking for it now but can’t find it - has anyone else seen it?

Maybe I’ve been drinking too much real Payne, but didn’t the Tour used to have 9 Stages?

yup, until last year, when it went to 7. Now, since you weren’t here last year, you now have a 14 stage tour this year. You can thank me later. Here are Stages 1-7 or 8-14 however you’d like to ride it

  • Joyride + Cobbler
  • Nine Hammers
  • Fight Club
  • Half is Easy + G.O.A.T.
  • Norway
  • Who Dares + The Cure
  • Defender + Attacker

May GvA have mercy

Wasn’t here in the “before” times, but I recall last year people were saying that the 9-10 day tours were hard to manage over two weeks…

Nope, never an issue as I locked myself (ok ok my wife locked me up) in the EnterPainMent cave for 9 days. Ring the done and dusted bell when its over … then try to navigate the stairs … I still hate stairs … flogging stations grow on you … yes they do …

I can’t ever see those and not think, horse stalls. So much like the steeds in the stables after a race…

Unfortunately won’t be here this year either. Tour week is test week before going into race training.

Next year 21 stage tour. :joy:

Do it a week early

That’s too bad. Next year, or possibly after race season, you could do like Sir Shrek did and do ALL the tours back-to-back-back. What could possibly go wrong?

Good luck with your races!

My god @Glen.Coutts…the things you come up with.

I’m just going to address the elephant in the room: no one’s EVER seen Sir Glen and GvA in the same room together…

More food for thought: no one’s EVER seen Sir Joe and an elephant in the same room together…

I saw Sir Joe riding an elephant in a room once. Although that room may have been white and padded…

Lol! I’m just a witness to it all. Not the originator. While I have been know to pursue a SAG or two of my own, :stuck_out_tongue: I can assure you that I am not GvA. That said, I do enjoy some good enterpainment so…

It was Sir Sean McPronto (aka Sir Shrek) who chose to do all the Tours he missed. Not my idea, I swear. If you’re on FB you can check out #thenuttrio for the exploits of genuine bada$$es Sirs @Aadass and Jose M Diaz and Dame @Bunches415 who chose to do a whole bunch of ToSs in a row. Called it the #HyperToS.

Who was in that white room…you or Sir Joe?
