I have been using an ELEMNT Roam v1 cycle computer with Favero Assioma Duo-Shi power meter pedals, connected by ANT+, for a couple of years with absolutely no problems. However, today the ELEMNT app would not sync with the pedals. Connection to my TICKR Fit was fine and there was speed data, but over a two-hour ride there was no connection to the pedals.
The pedals were fully charged and there was no trouble connecting to them via the Favero app. I could also see them as Bluetooth devices on my phone.
About two hours after the ride, I turned on the Roam and woke up the pedals and everything synced as normal.
Hopefully, this was a one-time glitch. I’m posting this just to see if anyone has experienced something similar when using ELEMNT computers with Favero or any other power meter pedals and can perhaps offer an explanation of what’s happening.
