Run training plans

Couple of questions around running. Are there any plans to add in more run plans or maybe an add button similar to yoga and strength to the cycle plans or alternatively something like an off-season triathlon plan.
Also any plans to create some run videos similar to Zwift (but with sufferfest engagement) maybe footage like kona world champs for harder sessions or a running version of the col collective vids (i know no one can replicate col collective vids) but there are some great youtube channels with scenic trail routes.

In case you’ve just missed them, there are currently three run videos. They’re really good workouts!

I think they found they weren’t used that widely and due to creating a video being really time consuming they just decided that time was better spent elsewhere. Don’t get me wrong though, if I still has access to a treadmill I’d love more run videos. And run training plans would also be awesome. Especially power based ones!

Oh yeah - you’ve got to try Steamroller - it is a masterpiece! They’re all good, but that one is my favorite. Living in flat Houston, I’ve often used The Machine to get some hill training in, and Running Revolver is great for getting some speedwork in when I can’t run outside (like when it’s 100 F). Some of the other SUF workouts are also excellent on the treadmill, like AVDP and GOAT.

I would love to see SUF make some more of these, but I understand why they haven’t.

Cheers Sir Clayton I hadn’t thought of using the cycling videos. Do you know if there are any treadmills on the market that use the app in the same way as the smart trainers?

How did you pick your paces - did you just run by feel?

Nine hammers is perfect for a threshold treadmill session if you feel the need to truely suffer. used as a long interval session on many a sunday in the winter. although yet to truely get past the 7th hammer.

I’ve done Revolver Running as an outdoor workout. Start the video, lock the screen and go. Just listen for the vroom vroom to ramp up and the breaks to slowdown/rest.

I’m in the market for treadmill. Any that you can recommend/suggest ?

Hey, that’s a great idea! I’m going to try that!

Background: My next Mt. Sufferlandria is a sub-27:00 5k. Suff has worked very well for me on the bike, and I’d love to transfer the “Suff Way” to this other sport.

I would absolutely love to see more running videos, but understand the lack of focus on them for the time being. The immersive experience is unbeatable!
