Hi there, I have just got a new MacBook Air with Apple M5 chip, running the latest version of Tahoe OS. I have a decent internet connection but it is taking 15min plus to download a workout video (the April 2026 challenge videos, so only around 1hr workouts).
If I attempt to download more than one video it cannot cope. This is pretty frustrating, any suggestions?

Try downloading one video at a time, close other apps, and make sure your OS and app are up to date, this usually helps speed things up.
Which videos are you downloading and what speed of internet connection do you have?
The workouts - especially the hour-long ones - are big video files probably at around 2-3GB. Plus their servers have to prioritize and load-balance. So any video over 45 minutes is going to take some time to download. Even with fast fiber internet an hour-long video still takes at least 5 min for me to download. I can download multiple videos, but I just have to give myself extra time and be patient.

What I’ve found and this might just be me but if multiple devices are using the internet at the same time this can slow down the download. If I’m downloading videos I always try to just have Wahoo running.

Unless one has a defined Quality of Service for your router set up, this is broadly exactly how networks function. There is a defined bandwidth for your internet connection and it must be shared across devices.

The only problem I have with this is that any other Cycling App I have used ie RealVelo, Fulgaz, Open Road still download the rides or workouts while other devices are being used Wahoo SYSTM doesn’t. As soon as any other device or tv starts using the internet the download stops and doesn’t start again until SYSTM is the only device using the internet.
Hmm, it is not uncommon that I download SYSTM workouts onto a Samsung tablet while I’m using the TV and my phone, and while my husband is running a non-downloaded SYSTM workout and streaming music on his phone. All of this on the same router which has no specified priorities. Sometimes workouts download quickly, sometimes they take longer. I definitely wait for one to finish before attempting another download.
