Hello.
I have a question about swimming.

A test is needed to determine the swimming zones. I don’t understand why the 500m test is needed if you need 1000m or 1500m pace to determine the zones. Should I add a few seconds to the 500m pace? how so how much?

There is a maximal 50 sprint effort prior to the 500, so the 500 pace should be about the same as your 1K pace.
