I am holding on to MacOS and Windows in my life just for the single reason of using Wahoo SYSTM.
I would love to go Linux a year ago I found no way to get SYSTM running. Might there be a Webapp coming? I mean it‘s not a highly graphical intensive process, so a browser should be able to handle it well?
In Case anyone has an Idea how I can use my MacBook, iPhone or a Linux Laptop to get SYSTM running on my big screen using my Kickr Bike Shift, I would be very happy.
If you happen to have an Xbox you can install a piece of software called AirServer on it which effectively turns it into an Apple TV that you could AirPlay to from your iPhone.
Hi @Roland_Riedl depending on how old usually 2018/2019 onwards and what make your tv is if it supports Airplay you should be able to run SYSTM via that its easy to configure on your Mac or iPhone with easy explanations online, if you don’t mind another wire about the place you could get an HDMI usb cable depending on what connections are on your Mac or Iphone as well
Thanks, but that all misses the point of leaving MacOS and Windows behind. I would want to move to Linux fully and SYSTM is the only thing preventing me.
Good luck with that happening, we are still waiting to get an Apple TV app to make an appearance and that’s been going on years now so I wouldn’t count on it happening anytime soon
Only way I see you getting the SYSTM app in Linux at the moment is with an emulator. the SYSTM app is currently in a software that works in multiple OS. But Wahoo doesn’t have the resources to support multiple different coding versions for different OS. So until then, Apple TV and Linux won’t be directly supported. And I don’t expect either to be supported any time soon.
