Anyone got any ideas why the promo image/poster for the 2024 tour has a stage profile on it? With RGT now being closed the addition of the profile seems to be a bit odd.
My immediate though was that there might be a zwift stage? There has been increasing co operation between the companies in recent months. Could this be the next step?
Wild speculation on my part but just struck me as odd!
I wouldn’t go as far as saying it’s a ride profile. Just a couple o’ mountains. I do agree it looks a little Zwifty and said so here:
Call it what you will, argue that its is not a play on the term hooligan, whatever, but I will never be a Wahooligan. I will support the DPF and I am willing to support the Tour of Sufferlandria. Heck I am still willing to support Wahoo. I will simply cross out the “W” word, insert “of Sufferlandria” and move on.
Really. They were only colours on the original flag and the protests were not as load as this but they were changed.
A understandable decision at the time just like this one should be.

If we will have a 6-week training plan like last year, I hope you are on the verge of announcing fundraising details and signups for individuals, teams, as well as the “Wahoo” Tour Training Plan!
I would expect the plan to start on or about Monday January 15th?..

We all know the etiquette and the spirit of the Sufferlandrian community. Being a Sufferlandrian is like being around likeminded people. It’s sad that it has to be a club within a club, and that the company doesn’t get the marketing potential of the brand they acquired, but it is what it is.
Less than 6 weeks to go now, but no 6 week training plan available yet. Not sure that’s gonna work now…

Will there be ride alongs? I rode in 2022 and thought that was the best part. Riding with Davis on the last day was inspirational! And if so, will they be for both routes?
DPF normally sets something up. And a couple of us did independently last year. Can easily run an Indievelo Group ride with Rubberbanding if anyone wants to ride together. I live streamed mine last year too and rode 2 stages in a goat suit

DPF is planning some training rides as well as Zoom rides during the Tour. Once you register, the confirmation email has more info on this
