Has anyone else experienced fatigue / failure of the locking tabs of the battery container / cover.
Mine just about holding in with one engagement tab broken, never been over tightened. Plastic tabs look flimsy.
Anyone know if replacement battery holders / covers are available?
The round cover on the old TICKR? I don’t think so, IIRC someone asked about that and they don’t have any spares anymore.
Thanks Ritchie, I realise no longer sold, now replaced by their new monitor. I changed battery, noted one of the retaining lugs broken. Still works but I guess time limited and next battery change will be the end of it!
I suspect this was a common problem, flimsy lugs. If I had a printer, ideal project for 3d printed replacement!
You know, I did hear of someone doing that.
If you’re in the US and can find a STL file online I’ll make you one, that has to be about $0.02 of filament.
