ToS 2013 On My Calendar - Care to Join?

:joy: :joy: :joy: having to dial things back over the course of any ToS is not unusual. Maybe not 100% intensity but definitely 100% suffering. Carry on brave Sir!

I forgot how much time you spend in Zone 5 Heart Rate with Angels. Actually I think a lot of the vintage Sufferfest rides are in Zone 5 more than the new stuff. It’s making this ToS a real challenge for an old guy.

Well, I made it through the first 17 minutes of Long Scream at 100% before I had to dial it back a bit. Did that for two minutes and then up to 90% the rest of the way out.

So my best suggestion for a double of The Wretched + Long Scream is simple…DON’T, just DON’T!

Just realised that I’ve been blathering on to Sir @Critmark in a private channel for the past few days, missing out on the fun of this one. After struggling through the first few days, and really taking strain at the end of Extra Shot, I’m starting to get into my stride, and managed Wretched & Long Scream today without having to dial down at the end like I usually do. I think my fitness hit a nadir two weeks ago at my FM test, and this intensity has kicked me back up to where I thought I might have been.

But the Downward Spiral tomorrow is likely to kill me - it’s the first one that isn’t at least based on endurance…
