FVG and RC (is that what we call it?) back-to-back is just insane. Impressed you even tried. After all you’ve already done this extra everything tour. Would never attempt it myself.
Ah, to be young again. ![]()
Yep. Barely there. You must’ve blinked. ![]()
And lo, I walked through the Valley of the Nine Hammers and was not afraid, for my Hammer was the biggest of all*.
Stages 7 and 8 of the Tour de Sufferlandria are complete. I started out with finishing 14 Vice Grips (10 VGs) on 90% intensity, doing half of the intervals at low cadence out of saddle. From there I had a comfortable climb out of the valley to the Thin Air and waaay too many drinks at the Nine Hammers tavern. The second two were completed at 100% intensity, and still with Knighthood Protocols.
Music Choices;
14VG; Conan the Barbarian soundtrack
TA; Ken Theriot mix
9H; Glorhammer’s Return to the Kingdom of Fife
Recovery time and training load were 74 and 1914 respectively. To…71?..and 2347. Clearly Garmin has no idea what to do with this kind of insanity.
Thus ends the official Tour.

Amazing effort, I salute you! Well done!!
It probably definitely helps!
That said…I was younger for last year’s tour (duh), and wasn’t doing nearly as much or as well!
Incredible effort Braan! Wow!
I am probably decades older than you, so we are dealing with orders of magnitude difference. ![]()
