Wow… very underwhelmed by this years Tour. Gawd, I miss the days when Sir David et al would make such theatre about the reveal.
To have it just slapped up on the forum with no fanfare just shows how far gone the whole thing is.
I sadly won’t be taking part either as it doesn’t seem worth adjusting shifts etc like I normally would for the Tour. I will still be donating obvs as is the Sufferlandrian way.
1 new workout (which looks like a tempered DAYT) means nothing whilst the sentiment feels the way it does right now. Plus, as much as I LOVE all the Mike Cotty stuff, 3 OL vids don’t belong anywhere near the Tour. I’ll say nothing about the EF all access vid.
Such a shame to see the whole damn thing fade away like this… I still and will continue to use the app in the true spirit it was meant for though.
Notwithstanding my rantings, Wahoo’s lack of interest, participation and seeming unwillingness to listen to it’s customers to promote and maintain Sufferlandria does nothing to dull my enjoyment of my beatings and I also know I can never leave.
You know what, it is what it is but it’s still a good crash week on training. They have to include all the areas of the platform and I am grateful there will be a new SUF workout.
I’ll crack on for a bit longer but may well switch to Rouvy next winter.
I remember that video. Classic!! That was my first ToS too and I remember being overwhelmed with both trepidation, excitement and then swamped with relentless positive energy, bravery, courage and inspiration as my FB feed was quite literally overtaken by SUF from start to finish.
