Trackr Radar Auto Mute, Auto light on/off Tunnel

Every tour will probably vary from busy roads, safe bike lanes next to busy roads, fire roads, etc with virtually no cars.

All the majority of feature settings available on head unit and app done really Interest me, or are atleast a one time set and forget. Left/right track, duration, etc.

However i have to mute and un-mute maybe 10x on a ride, and have to navigate all the menu settings.

MMUCH better would be;

Radar thinks, i an beeping, double and triple beeps virtually every few seconds, maybe I should go on mute for a while.

Perhaps i am on a bike lane next to the busy road so the cars are no threat anyway.

Radar thinks also, ihave not beeped for a minute, then I will start beeping again with the next car.

This is maybe the only setting i need on the head unit. Auto beep, beep on, beep off.

Light comes on automatically, like display, if in a tunnel would also be logical

Ok but how would the radar itself know this?

The ELEMNT is just beeping when the radar signals it.

I also have multiple bike paths next to highways and yeah, it’s going off like crazy, but I’m never going to see a car there. For better or worse in these situations the radar also goes off from mopeds and high speed scooters that don’t belong on the bike path but I still want the warning.

I also have a service road parallel to a highway where the radar also goes off crazy with cars that can’t hit me … But there are still cars.

The Radar does not need to know.

“I” take the responsibility and say, for example,

  • mute Orange and “particularly Red” lane warnings if you are on orange or red lane warning, >75% the time.

  • The red is particularly so, serious beeping, even though you have been warned already with an orange lane

  • When you have 30secs of blue lane, then unmute again.

  • If then after 5min, something shoots past at 100mph, then great, thanks for the red warning.

  • A warning loses its effect as a warning if it’s a continual state. I just become even more noise.

That is my thinking

Looking for the Mute/unmute feature while riding I actually find a little dangerous, going through all the other settings.
For example, I never think on a ride, I need to move the lane warning from left to right, or its time for another blink mode.
Mute /UnMute I need every ride
The rest can just be set and forget from the Phone
