Looking at the various training plans and pretty much all have very little SUF content in them.
There’s a ton of the (for me) boring On Location, ‘Inspiration’ and no-vids but almost no SUF.
Does anyone have linke to the old school volcano plan or similar? I’d rather do SUF workouts at lower intensity than do the above workouts as I always find I lose motivation and give up with the workout types above.
I often swap out non SUF workouts for SUF ones. Some of the harder OL ones are pretty tough, so a straight swap for a SUF workout with the same 4DP focus.
When it ones to z2 stuff the inspiration vids are mostly a once only watch or some so incredibly dull (in my opinion) and don’t make it through one watch, so I just don’t play the video and watch something good on Netflix. Better still go outside if the weather is ok. There are a handful that were good documentaries though. Half the Road is very good.
I concur on this, it can not be that difficult to give you the opportunity to choose among 3-4 workouts?
It’s kind of already implemented on the App, like when you do not have an active training plan and it gives you a choice of 3-4 workouts based on duration, motivation, etc?
It could go even beyond and with the new fitness score and training capacity metrics update your training plan as you go like Trainerroad, Xert or Join and many others already do!
Thanks all - I found the 10 week intermediate plan online that pre-dates the app. I’m actually looking forward to doing this plan as it nothing but SUF!
I know the VOlcano plan used to be on Training Peaks but can’t find it on there anymore.
Yup. All the SUF plans were on there but the links are all dead so either The Company found out and insisted on their removal or TP just decided to clean up the space.
I do wish the company had a “SUF only” training plan toggle. When I actually /was/ trying to follow SYSTM plans, many of the assigned videos sapped motivation.
