Yesterday thought I’d try the new Kigali route.. Found it was on the Wahoo app, , zI’ll give it a go.
This is indoors. My setup is basically a Wattbike Atom.
I would have liked the ability to change gear, such as I have to do in half monty. But no, couldn’t find a way, apart from dialling down the percentage. Do I ended up on all the hills, out of the saddle at low cadence pushing very hard. My legs are suffering today
They will recover. I suggest doing the Hobart City 30 minute recovery for low intensity spinning that has some cadence builds in it or No Place Like Home that will put your legs under a little stress but still help them recover. Throwing a little work/intensity at them will help flush out the soreness while still allowing them to recover. I was once told that the worst thing that you can do is to not ride the day after a hard ride or workout. It doesn’t have to be hard or intense or long, about 30 minutes but get the legs spinning the day after. Hydration is key as well.
