Hey @CYCLING-THERE, if you came back and completed the workout (even as a separate activity) it will count towards the challenge and you will be fine.
Keep going through the workouts and at the end of the plan if the badge has not appeared, please contact our customer support team who will be able to take a closer look at your account for you: https://support.wahoofitness.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
I’ve started with the ‘Endurance’ plan - I still have to complete one yoga session, one strength session and the ‘All Access EF 1’ workout, but I’ve got the badge already. Does it only count the SUF workouts for the badge? I’ll be true to SUF’s honour and actually complete them, but it’s a bit odd.
Those no-vid FTP progression ones in the plan were fun btw, I rode them simultaneously to the Zwift ‘road to sky’ route to see how far up I could get. I had to sneak in an extra 30 seconds on the last interval in the 5x8min workout, to actually make it to the top of the climb.
I noticed after doing the first three weeks of the plan that I’d been awarded the badge. I still had Recharger to go, which is Sufferfest. Could it be based on all but the rest week activities?
Really enjoying another challenge to see the year out!
My shifts don’t allow me to focus on a longer term training plan, but I’ve found I can work around these shorter plans and still get the satisfaction and benefits from completing one.
Onwards to the Tempo stuff next. GvA awaits somewhere in the 9H Tavern.
Any chance I will be able to complete the entire challenge in less than three months? I would still like to get in some outside rides aswell.
Just went through Half Monty border control on my way back from Couchlandria last night. Although slightly disappointing numbers, I gave it my all and am proud I managed to do it.
Yes, I think it is possible to do 4 in three months. I am trying to compress these, too, as I will be traveling > 3 weeks during the quarter. I did the first one in 3 weeks, by taking the recovery rides and moving them in-between the rides. It did make the first week of MAP a bit painful, without the rest/recovery … but the second week into MAP seems to be back on track.
Absolutely. I will complete the challenge this coming Thursday Oct 17th. I did two of the programs together, mixing intensity & type with some days off. I just need six rides to complete the second two (Tempo & Attack).
I’ve finished FTP so far, but mixed-in some of the AC, NM and MAP trainings to get a more complete training. It’s easy to do a NM or an AC training and follow it with a SUF video or a MAP or FTP training. Probably possible to get through the whole trainings in 2-3 months that way.
Sorry only coming to the end of 1st badge!
However increased NP by a few marks. Plus starting to like DEFENDER!(Mainly helped by a few weeks of No Video - high cadence 1,2 & 3!!
Looking forward to what badge 2 can improve!
Nice work everyone on the Go Beyond FTP Challenges so far! A few people have asked so I have added the list of workouts to complete for each challenge to achieve the badge.
Remember, complete all 4 by December 31 for your chance to win a KICKR Move!!
