Wahoo X Fall Challenge - Go Beyond FTP

(post deleted by author)

Halfway through the Fall Challenge and we already have a few completions!

Who else is aiming to gain entry to the KICKR Move prize draw?

Keep on riding beyond FTP!

Such a good idea, I’m not a fan of nm or ac workouts, but i know they’re useful, so going through these plans is pleasure and pain. Just did the trick (halloween themed  ), such an awful hour. I swear I didn’t give up during the fourth attack, because Sufferlandria was watching, but it was probably the toughest workout so far. Violator down the road though…

And for good measure, throw in The Shovel, Revolver, and Nine Hammers for more fun! Yay!

How is everyone doing with the 4 part challenge?
There is still time to complete some workouts and get into the Prize draw for a KICKR Move!!

@Rupert Two badges completed - Endurance and Sprint. Unfortunately have a lot of the AC and MAP stuff still to go and that stuff has been been pretty spicy. I am trying to balance the remaining work with offseason weight sessions without burning myself out. I will get there but plan to use all the remaining time to do it.

3 done and on track to complete the Sprint badge just after Christmas. I’m already looking forward to seeing the next badge.

There should be a badgey badger badge for those of us collecting an absurd number of badges.

Are you referring to Barney the Badgekeeping Badger

I think @Cheryl.Vasan would like that badge :joy:. Provided to anyone who has acquired ALL the badges :stuck_out_tongue:

Yep, I would like that badge! I’ve got two On Location and 2 ProRides badges left. Then Knighthood and I’ll have the full set.

Just finishing up FTP today. I did these slightly out of order, starting with MAP and finishing with FTP. Now I’m curious how I’m doing overall, so it’s time to go through the Full Frontal one week prep and do the test. Then perhaps two or three blocks to work on weaknesses before the SUF tour (assuming that happens in March).

FTP Challenge is done, and I’m working on the AC Challenge now. Not sure I’ll get all four done though before the end of the year.

I have two badges complete, Sprinter and Tempo. The third badge, Endurance, will be finished on Friday the 6th, and then I’ll have 25 days to get the fourth badge, Attacker. Very doable. After that I’ll tackle On Location Bavaria and once again my library of Badges will be complete. You keep pitching ‘em in here, and I’ll keep hitting them back.

One badge down, and getting close on the other 3. I debated doing one at a time but ended up opting for a ‘mix-and-match’ approach. Keeps the misery varied and exciting. Hoping to be done before Christmas, save for one final ride - my wife Kealy is working on the challenge as well, and the plan is to save the last ride to each get our final badge on New Year’s Eve.

This was my plan too except I’m a badge behind you . Hopefully it all falls into place over the next couple of weeks!

Number 3 is in the books. That leaves 25 days to do 9 workouts for the Go Beyond FTP Attack badge. The smart money says don’t bet against me.

Anybody who bets against a Knight is, let’s call it making an Ill Advised Decision.

I believe the quote is: “Everything happens for a reason. But sometimes the reason is that you’re stupid and you make bad decisions,” Oops, did I say that out loud???

NEVER bet against a Knight. You got this!
