i really miss the wonderful Sufferfest posters and looked forward to them every year. I have signed on for the Tour again as I have done every year since the beginning but, honestly, my enthusiasm wanes.
I feel your Real Pagne, Sir. Happy to have you aboard, nonetheless
Also, don’t forget to join The SUF National Team.
…which you can do even if you’ve signed up as an individual.
Is there a timewindow to complete the stage like last year?
Once the event opens, you will also be able to see a drop down on the progress tab giving you a countdown to stages open/closed:
Thanks
so Rollercoaster is available from Friday 21 or so it says. might as well be next Monday
…well…there is the 50 hour window when it comes to Tour vids
The theme park opens at 9am ET today,
please form an orderly queue.
…which would be from Feb 20 12pm till Feb 22 12pm UCT
lol! It should be there now, Dame. It is here now over on the Northern Slopes of Mt. SUF
I’ve been participating in this “tour” since 2017. I’ve always looked forward to it. I remember one year where the last day was “The Kitchen Sink”, something close to 3 hours. Those years were hard and fun.
Not so much this year though. I realize that the difficulty and even the pre-tour lead up had dropped off a cliff in the last few years too. Still, I was hoping for something that would be a real challenge this year. Doesn’t look like that’s the case. They even dropped the sliding start windows to account for timezones. Not an impressive move by Wahoo if they want to compete with Zwift’s tours.
Sufferlandrian National Day in October 2017 brought us Kitchen Sink. The 2018 ToS gave it to us again as Stage 9. Fun times. Fuuuun tiiiiimes.
As to the timers, those are in there now under Progress/Awards if you’re a badger. Apparently there was a technical issue with them earlier.
I remember that 3hr last Stage of the 2018 ToS vivibly! Those were the days!
Indeed and you are also welcome to join the SUF National Team. Plenty o’ room on the team bus. You can do this, even though you’ve already signed up as an individual:
How do I join a team after I have registered for the Tour?
Log in to your participant center, click the Profile tab, click the Event Options tab, select the Join a Team bubble, use the search tool to find Sufferlandrian National Team, click Join Team in the search results.
If you still have an issue, send Lauren at DPF an email and she’ll get you sorted lickety-split TeamDPF@dpf.org
I will not be doing the ride this year. For me, the bloom is off the rose.
I have not found a platform I like better YET, and if I did leave I think I would miss it. Absence makes the heart grow fonder and all. But I also know, familiarity breeds contempt. Two things can be true at the same time.
