I am very pleased with the SYSTM app, but I was hoping it would provide more feedback on completed workouts and offer more advice on future training sessions to address my weaknesses.
For example, I am wondering about my recovery capacity between two intense parts of the same workout or at the end of a session during the recovery phase.
I expected the app to comment on my performance by assessing whether my recovery level between two high-intensity periods is adequate or not. If it is poor, which seems to be the case, I was hoping it would suggest which workouts would help me improve in this area.
you won’t get that kind of feedback from SYSTM. It’s not set up that way. If you want personalized feedback, I’d suggest getting a coach.
As for recommendations to address your weaknesses, if you’ve done the Full Frontal fitness test and had the 4 key metrics appropriately assigned, then ALL the workouts you do will be tailored to your unique 4DP results, and, consequently, if you apply ANY of the SYSTM cycling training plans, those plans will help you to improve in areas of weakness and strength.
If you are looking to work ONLY your weakness, then look for SYSTM vids that focus on those things. You can sort the workouts by 4DP focus or by type of effort
welcome to the community forums @MarcBxl. You’ll find it a generally pretty friendly place with people willing to help. The Company’s support site for SYSTM is actually pretty good but if you ever can’t find anything there, don’t hesitate to come back here with any questions you have.
Systm won’t give you feedback on recovery, but if you use a Garmin or Wahoo cycling computer you can get feedback from those apps or from my personal favorite: intervals.icu which tracks a whole load of metrics including fatigue.
