The last 4dp test I completed gave me a FTP of 195. The last one I did was around the 2nd one and I’ve also done a couple of ramp tests during training plans. Having done 4dp test, each training plan I’ve done have had the workouts tailored to my results.
Anyway…today I wanted to schedule a new training plan. During the summer period I’ve had training plans set and done indoor workouts but due to having good summer weather to ride…I’ve skipped the last 4dp test.
Anywho…today on setting a new training plan, the systm app tells me that my workout profile has estimated values and it advises me to do a 4dp test.
So my question is this…if you haven’t done a 4dp test for a couple of months…or as regularly as the app prescribes…do you lose the option of having training plan workouts tailored to your rider profile or in other words…does the 4dp result previously attained…expire?
Anyone else who’s being told their workout plan has estimated values when adding a new training plan and being advised to do a 4dp test? (when you’ve previously done them)
As above. I thought it may have had something to do with Wahoo Cloud issues since there was some other weird stuff happening the past few days.
My last test was a Half Monty so my MAP and FTP differ from the last time I did FF. That isn’t supposed to change your rider type though and this is the first time I’ve seen that my plan is based on “estimates” as well. Hoping to hear from the team what is going on here as I am, unfortunately, moving quickly toward indoor season
