10! 10 videos completed!
I finished at about 3:00 a.m. Lucky me discovered upon starting number 8 that I had miscounted when I made my list in haste. I had 11 videos instead of 10 so local hero went in the bin! I was so tired when I was done I sat in the shower and fell asleep right after. The last two videos were not hard at the level I turned them down to but my ass is just chafed! I was doing every trick I knew to stand sit shift around in the saddle move back and forth to keep myself comfortable enough to get through. I guess that’s what I get for doing a very early season for me anyway long ride I have no calluses built up :-).
All that said thank you all for the encouragement I was reading your posts and having good laughs during the warm-ups but it was starting to get to be a huge effort to put anything up myself.

I’m going to submit it a little later this morning. I just got done with a hike with my dog. It was slow but I think it helped clear some of the remnants of last night out of my legs

I wish I could have binned Local Hero when I did mine but I didn’t schedule bonus floggings like you 
. Then there’s Sir Evan @emacdoug who does this kind of thing on purpose (adding vids that is, not bailing on them :p)
In any case, your room has been freshly scrubbed and your bed has been assembled.

I know you’re only joking but my engineering brain would actually like to do a comparison to doing one of these starting early in the morning say 5:00 a.m. to finish about 3:00 p.m. or so and see if doing it in the daytime is
significantly better. I know the diurnal cycle has effects on us but is it enough to make a difference for that like this? Let’s say it was 5% with another 7 to 10 watts really make any difference? Maybe during the week when I’m fully recovered I’ll have the energy to look up some research on this.

I think I’m going to have to wait! My family has conspired against me and scheduled a full slate of events for the Easter weekend so I don’t think I can block out 10 more hours
