I did Peak Pose Wheel yesterday, and I appreciated the shorter length and the honest title. Wheel is as close to a “noga” pose as there is for me, for reasons I don’t even understand. I am just intimidated by it, and definitely would prefer to try various different other sessions as a warmup to see what makes it easier. In this case shorter is better and more versatile, at least for me.
I think it definitely has a place, but it’s not a replacement. I really missed the lizard pose and the second go at wheel.
