Tempo/Threshold/MAP Workout

This morning I did the 1hr, 33min No-Vid Tempo/Threshold/MAP: 6x 3-2-1 workout. At the end there was a 15 cool-down. Can some give me an insight as to why there is such a long cool-down/recovery at the end. Usually the cool-downs are anywhere from 3-5 minutes in length. At the end of the 2hr,27min ISLTA workout there is only a 3min cool-down. Just curious :face_with_monocle:.

On a side note, after the 6 “working intervals” of this workout

.I really didn’t feel like sitting on the trainer for another 15 minutes but I did. I also listened to and watched ISLTA while doing this workout. It would have been a very long 1hr, 33min had I not had that distraction.

A lot of the no-vids have extended cool downs or even extra zone 2 at the end. A lot of them (but not all) say they are optional. So you can do as much or little as you want.
