I rode the Italian lake before Cash Register. Very difficult duo! By the last two of Sir Standsalot’s sprints, i just couldn’t stand anymore. I still managed to meet the cadence targets and the power at 100%, but standing seems so much harder! After today, I fell like listening to a Recharger playlist to get ready for tomorrow. But if I recall correctly, that includes what is probably Mike Cotty’s favorite song:
Here’s a new GvA-inspired expression coined during today’s suffering on The Model:
"Don’t expect it to get easier, then you won’t be disappointed when it doesn’t. "
If you look in progress>awards>badge details, as long as it’s there you’re sorted.
The app doesn’t care if you did the ride from the plan in the calendar or not, just as long as you log the correct ride within the Sufferlandrian day.
OMG… this workout always nails me to the wall… even as an Attacker in my profile, I still struggle with this one.
Good luck to those still out on the course!
It’s fine, you can just tack S1 onto the back of Downward Spiral, it’s all good. YW!
Stage 4. was. brutal. I’m not a sprinter, but decided to do Cash Register in Level mode and went all out, thinking the Italian Lake ride was going to be a nice easy recovery.
I was wrong. The last two sets of sprints in the Italian lake ride were pure suffering.
Plus, I had forgotten that I was riding the Italian Lakes in ERG mode, so was changing gears going into every sprint. Halfway through the second set, my trainer got confused and I ended up in a death spiral. I thought my legs had quit on me.
A little nervous about stage 5 today.
That will surely kill me
