Tour of Sufferlandria 2015 is on the calendar! Let's keep it going!

Sounds like your electrolyte balance is way off. Cramps in a well trained athlete indict external issues as well. Are yiu using something to track total stress?
In any case, I’m out for a four hour climb up a mountain tomorrow.

no, I in no way underestimate what a precious opportunity this all is. Thank you The Sufferfest

After the local heroism, the night wasn’t great, but it wasn’t bad either. Despite everything, I’m quite happy and grateful that the immune system is taking care of the job without going completely down! It’s the least I can do, no complaints, just enjoy. As mentally the day was planned for stage 8, it ended up working as a certain relief, being just a rookie, albeit well warned. “just wait, the pain will come”. And it came :grinning: but despite everything not as ugly as yesterday! It turned out not to be as bad as I had hoped. The start took a while but then I held on.

Rookie done.

Tomorow comes the infamous Stage 8.

May all have a good night’s restful sleep

What a beautiful climb that must be? :star_struck: be well!
Thank you, i guess so, Electrolyte and surely other balances are way off these days. But i am not also in the category of “well trained” nowadays, thanky tou anyway for the confidence :))
Not been tracking total stress. At the moment i dont have a watch or similar, mine was stolen from pool bag some months ago and didn’t buy a new one yet.

Thank you very much for your help

Amazeballs! Way to get after it! Pretty sure I said this before but you ARE a Sufferlandrian. No ifs, ands, or buts. 100%

Also, you can never leave so…

There are online tools for tracking stress. I don’t even use the information from my watch.

Stage 8 is done. So two big items on the agenda for tomorrow.

  1. Finish Stage 9 and complete the our of Sufferlandria 2015… :muscle:
  2. Announce the dates for ToS 2016!!! :fearful:

Maybe it’s “done” but it will be burned into your memory forevermore. My first ToS was in 2016. One day, I will be like you Sir and complete the ones I missed. This one, and THAT Stage look delightful! And, ISLAGIATT to close it out. FREAKIN’ brilliant!

Not necessarily. It could be like one of those times in life where the brain just blocks it out because it is just too painful. Coping mechanisms are a wonderful thing. :exploding_head:

Stage 8 on the books.

Too hard for my current state. But no self-pity here in the mythical land of the highest mountain conquerors.

The starting shot with a Revolver went quite well, a bit surprisingly, I felt good during the session and quite good at the end, given the context, of course!

In Grunter von Agony we trust…

But the Violation was a hammer blow too hard. The first segment already felt too difficult, the second segment was a literal beating and the third was just enduring as posible until the end. I felt drained at the end of the Violator.

But still waiting was a final ax without great ability to sprint!

Magnanimous generosity altruism and philanthropy.
How come not to be gratefull.

Done, done, done! Brutal

I thought exactly this when I got to the end today.

Yeaaaah! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Thank you Sir James! I got curious. Could you point me in a direction where to start exploring? Is there already a topic on the subject here on the forum?
I think I stopped in time and continue based on sensations

ISLAGIATT is done and ToS 2015 is in the rear view mirror. Today was tough. I did eek out 1.1 miles farther than my previous best but much of the second half of the ride was a pure zombie ride. Completely zoned out, just turning the pedals to the commands. No idea what I was doing other than each exact moment.

Hoping to get the dates for 2016 up tonight but I need a shower right now. If not, no later than tomorrow.

Very well done Sir Stuart! Congratulations!

Have a nice rest! (are we allowed to say this in Sufferlandrian?)

Enjoy your Real Pagne!

I think I understand well and totally relate with that feeling! I still don’t know how I’m going to do the ISLAGIATT today…

The only positive thing is that there is no Stage 9b :smiling_imp:

Hahaha! Now what kind of monster would add a stage to a Tour of Sufferlandria. This is no Wahoolimabob Tour  TUHNTF #twaaw

Jeepers Sir Stuart! The things some Knights will do to relive and revive the glory of the greatest grand tours of a mythical nation in the whole wide world.

The wahoominati have awarded you 6 SUF points for this achievement. Congrats!
