Mental training has been part of systm for a while - is this new content or replacement content or something else? I don’t see anything new in my systm library just the same old mental training content that I’ve tried a few times before.

Hey @gwydion this is all brand new content! Ensure your Wahoo App is updated to the latest version, select the “Plan” Tab, and you will see “Mental Recovery” under “More from Wahoo”. Click into this to explore the newly released suite of Mental Training content.

“If you choose this offer, your subscription will renew at $129 for one year from the date of purchase. After that promotional year, your subscription will automatically renew at the standard rate of $179.99 unless you cancel beforehand. Prices shown in your local currency and may vary by region.”

What does the part in bold mean, if your subscription is not ready to renew? Presumably it extends current subscription for a further year?

Hey @WahooMikeG

A little bit of critical thinking (or how some people in Sufferlandria read these news)

If it’s not equally funny as Sir Dylan’s, it shall not pass.

Okay, but has been possible with .zwo. No value in paying two subscriptions.

It’s been ~3 years since the price increased if not mistaking, but unsure if one cool thing and a lot of promises brings value.

What you could do to motivate more people paying?

  • Lose the fluff.
  • Stop killing Sufferlandrian:
    • Content and tone
    • Brand
    • Toughness of workouts
  • Try promoting Sufferlandria to the fullest.
  • Be more specific in communicating the value you’re planning to bring for the customers to justify the price increase.
  • Build that AppleTV app (literally every competitor app has it).

Ah thanks - never use the Wahoo app so didn’t see it. So it’s not integrated in the SYSTM training plans and scheduling, correct?

Not from the way i read this??? “one year from the date of purchase” (not from the date your old subscription expires) so its like a new subscription. If yours, like mine doesnt expire for a couple of months then technically you will loose those few months of your current subscription so that will negate any financial benefit you would have gained had your subscription ended in October. The longer your curent subscription has to run the worse it is . A bit crafty TBH

Would we see better and more adaptive training plans and integration with outdoor rides? Only that could justify some price hike.

I have renewed my Systm sub taking advantage of the discounted rate. My subscription was not due to expire until November which is when my next payment was due and I can confirm that this remains the case (at least at the time of writing) and no money has been taken from my card. The app and my account says that the next payment will be taken in November.

Please stop calling us Hooligans. Many of your European users already told you why this term is highly unaproppiate. Adding “wa” to this word doesn”t change its meaning. As someone who has almost lost a family member (almost beaten to death) due to the violence of hooligans this has to stop!

Thanks for that, hopefully it remains that way. The way they have worded it is very misleading in that case as it does say it will run for one year from the date of payment???

No-one likes a price rise but nice to get a special deal to cushion the blow. I’m locked in for another year - and actually saving money compared to my monthly rate.

I switched from a monthly suscription to the anual offer mentioned above, which was my plan to do anyway. @Luka nicely expressed. We will see, how Sufferfest evolves within the next 12 month. And I agree with @kah : the term „wahooligan“ is just totally inappropriate.
@WahooMikeG „Simulate any route indoors for cycling and running“ what is actually ment by that. Sorry, looked into the support pages but I‘m kind of lost here.

I locked in the lower renewal price. However, I did not receive any confirmation email, and do not see anything in my SYSTM or Wahoo Fitness account that I registered for the renewal.

Is this the normal behaviour, or did something go wrong? The only trace I can find is a 0$ credit card authorization approval in my banking records.

Thanks,

Rob

I logged into my account on the wahoo fitness website via browser.
Under mySuscription it says I will be billed € 129 (Euros since I’m in Germany) on October 5.
Scolling down there also is an “Account activity” with my recent payment within my monthly suscription.

Cool! Thanks - I see the same thing on that page.

Has there been any confirmation that if we go ahead and pay for the annual subscription at the lower rate that our current annual subscription with still run through (expiration date) before the new new subscription takes effect? I don’t care at all to “renew” now for another annual subscription but my current annual subscription isn’t up until January 20th. I don’t want to loose 4 months of my current subscription.
