Team scream has a tunnel where you go down before and once you come out at the other side bathed in light you have to increase power since you are leading and go up. I think that would be great for the climb. I love small uphill sections you can push through!
I don’t remember more uphill sections so the use would be quite minimal but would still add something.
Done. Number I was guessing outdoors based on a 1x51@90% feel was 230. FF result 220. Did I get all of it during FF? Probably left a few watts on the roundtable but yeah, close enough and within the percentages.
Excellent. Does your rider type match your expectations too?
Question: in the app, why does it say “Last Chance” for Half Is Easy, The Model, and Getting Away With It? Hopefully that does not mean that they will be disappearing from the catalog.
It tells me what I already knew.
In reality I need to do more “bookcase killing” training to get better BMX results which are diametrically opposed to what I prefer. I heart 40K TTs.
Last chance for the November challenge
That’s a real scare with the naming of the post. Makes it sound like they are being removed from the application Reversing the title to read “Last Chance for the November Challenge” would be much better.
You’re mad
Swag style done in the nick of time Did 2 before work and 2 after. Started with Half is Easy (I hate sprints so wanted this one out the way), followed with GAWI. This was the first video I ever did so I always enjoy going back to it.
Model was next up after a few hours break. Always find it much harder going up than down, I think because there’s no early recoveries that way. Team Scream as the longest and most intense obviously had to go last. In Mike Cotty’s words “I was in a box” for the final 30 minutes but got through it.
All done at 100% which made it feel like a mini knighthood. I need to retest though right?! Been putting off FF for months
I had aspirations to go for the swag challenge, but was not able to do more than two. But I did complete the challenge itself…
Oh well, it’s only a challenge if there is a real risk of failure.
Well done to everyone who has completed the November challenge! If you are close but not quite there you still have a few hours remaining!!!
We will be doing the draw and contacting swag winners from those who completed all workouts in one day!
If you are ready for the next Challenge, December is ready and waiting for you:
I started with Getting Away With It during lunch break, tied in nicely with a narrative.
After work, I continued with The Model and Half is Easy. Calves started to cramp, legs started to feel tired.
Team Scream is usually an enjoyable ride, but after those previous two, legs were hurting and almost gave up at least a dozen time. Quads were burning, body was beat down, I chew that stem and almost cried, not gonna lie.
Surviving this ordeal reminded me of The Quest for Knighthood in so many ways, that it was about growth, pushing personal boundaries, and just hanging around for dear life when everything tells you to give up.
In a nutshell, November challenge represented what Sufferfest is all about, and it’s lovely to share the Pain, Agony and Misery with you crazy lot. Swag or no swag, my favorite challenge this year.
It’s official, my unbroken record of failing to complete challenges remains intact. #noswagforme
And, as a reward for my consistency I welcomed The Black Knight to my arsenal
