ok, so I use the training plans and never really look ahead, but I was wondering what others have lined up for Christmas. And are you planning on doing it or piking out for the day?
My plan has me lined up to do Half Monty Ramp test! Merry Christmas to me. That should earn an extra slice or two of pudding.
Doing nothing too much, tv, desert, family and if there is time a small spin on the bike. The bike will always be in the garage but Christmas with the fam happens once a year
@ChrisMTB I have Tempo High Cadence 4 x 3 scheduled. I will probably do it if there is time. I am only 3 weeks away from the end of my plan so trying to stay dialed. If I had Half Monty I would probably move it a day back or forward if there were lots of other things going on that day.
Will be helping out getting setup to have family over. My better half is very patient all year round so sometimes ya just have to rest up. The other days will have few long steady spins with friends nothing to hectic because come January it will be full on chewing the stem
I have 14 more weeks before IM 70.3 Texas. My coach gave me two days off and said I can do anything I want.
Turns out, I want to go for a MTN. Bike ride! Haven’t done that in a long while. I’m sure my cardio will withstand the trails… not too sure about my skill level anymore. It’s been quite a while. Hopefully, I don’t break anything! Then, all I can eat from whatever is being served!
Starting with Chasing Legends + all the OLs + my fav SUF climber vids + the AWW climbers (Rabbit Mountain, Superflag & Boswell Strength Endurance) and ending with To Get To The Other Side which fittingly rounds off the closing few minutes of my 500k with (and I quote) “the greatest couple minutes of (Mike Cotty) acting in the history of the greatest mythical nation in the whole wide world” (credits: Grunter Von Coutts).
