Have you been riding, but not riding too hard? Have you been putting in lots of easy and endurance rides but not much intensity? Are you ready to bring intervals back into your routine, but not quite prepared to face up to a session like Nine Hammers or The Shovel?
Then have we got a Sufferfest for you. That’s right - two weeks ago we gave you three new ProRides. Last week we gave you three new On Locations. And this week —A NEW Sufferfest session – pulled fresh from a vat of boiling Pain Suckers and wrapped up in a storyline by Sir @Francois-Wahoo that’s going to have you smiling (and probably a little bit worried) all the way through.
If you love Recharger then you’re going to tough love No Place Like Home - the perfect re-introduction to a little bit of hard work. It will wake up your legs, lungs and mind, reminding them what it means to dig deep but without really working too hard or for too long. The workout is expertly designed by Wahoo’s Head of Sports Science, Sir @Coach.Neal.H , as a gradual step back into to Suffering when self-doubt has taken hold of you and motivation may be low. While you’re riding it, you’ll soon realize that you’re stronger than you think and that you can work hard. You’ll also realize that you really shouldn’t have ever left Sufferlandria – Border Control takes these things very seriously.
And when the session is finished? A wave of endorphins kick in - and if you’ve done it right, you’ll feel a sense of elation and a little sting in the legs that reminds you why you were born to Suffer and why there truly is…No Place Like Home.
Great! Looks like this was tailor made for me with respect to where I am at on re-building up to other Sufferfest videos that bring the pain-shakes. I also see this as a way to get in a very good 90 minute ride when you want to try something besides Local Hero or To Get To The Other Side. Start with one of your favorite 48-60 min videos, then finish up with No Place Like Home, flipping the run order would also be an interesting 90 min ride.
This video is brilliant! Definitely felt giddy and tingly at the end. Love all the SUF placement. Hit all the right notes in all the right bits. LOVE IT!
